Overview

Circadian is built with privacy as a core principle. The extension operates entirely on your device — no data is transmitted to external servers, no account is required, and nothing about you is shared with third parties.

What we collect

Circadian does not collect any personal data. All information the extension uses — your interaction patterns, energy preferences, and rhythm model — is stored locally in your browser using the Chrome Storage API and never leaves your device.

Local storage

The extension stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Your circadian rhythm model (derived from browser usage patterns)
  • Extension preferences and settings

This data is accessible only to the extension and is never transmitted anywhere.

Permissions

Circadian requests only the storage permission, which is used exclusively to save your local preferences and rhythm data between sessions.

Third parties

Circadian does not integrate any analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No third-party code runs inside the extension.

Children's privacy

Circadian does not collect any data from any user, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and release a new version of the extension.
